EXPERIENCE

 

Photography Student, Beckman High School, Irvine, California, 2019-2020, 2021-2022, 2022-2023

Enrolled in Beckman High school's photography program for three years. Courses consisted of: Photo and Design, Visual Arts, and Advanced Visual Arts. Won 3rd place in Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts (TACFA), 3 pieces of work shown in Irvine City Hall exhibition, one piece in Laguna Arts Festival, one piece in OCArts4All exhibition in South Coast Plaza Mall, and 5 awards of excellence recognized at Senior Awards Ceremony. 

 

Small Business, Wakaphotomoto, Irvine, California, Spring, 2020-Current

Formed a small business selling photo cards, tote bags, aluminum prints with original photos taken worldwide. Participates in various art and craft shows around the Irvine area. Also offers photoshoots for events including church events, family portraits, graduation portraits, acting headshots, etc. I also have an instagram page where I share my work, that I have tended to and grown through over the last 6 years. 

 

Behind the Scenes Photographer/Videographer & Social Media Management, ING Productions, La Mirada, September, 2023-Current

Associated with student film group ING Productions from Biola University as a behind the scenes photographer/videographer. Works on set to capture the behind-the-camera process of ING’s filmmaking. Also manages the editing of photos and social media formatting for their promotions on their Instagram, as well as creates promotional videos for upcoming releases of ING projects. 

 

Social Media Intern, Wintersburg Church, Garden Grove, California, August, 2024-Present

Volunteered as a photographer for Wintersburg, and was eventually offered a position to take photos of various church life events, making videos and slideshows, and creating weekly posts for Wintersburg’s Instagram account. I have learned communication skills, graphic design capabilities, and social media management. I also have a lot of creative freedom to try and both in reach and outreach for our church.

Youth Staff Volunteer, Wintersburg Church, Garden Grove, August 2024-Present

I am volunteering as a youth staff member in my church's youth ministry. I am currently serving in the middle school group, and specifically watch over the seventh grade students. Some of my responsibilities are to connect with the students, lead them in small group discussion, and being part of the weekly game planning rotation. As a staff member, we don't just have to tend to the students we watch over, but also having intentional relationships with grades above and below to create a tight knit community.

College Ministry Core Member, Wintersburg Church, Garden Grove, February 2025-Present

Volunteering as a member on my church's college ministry core staff. As a core member, we meet and plan about logistics, feedback, opportunities, and much more. My new role within the group is outreach. Some of the responsibilities are bringing and keeping people for our community, connecting with people outside of our group, and promoting upcoming life within our group to social media. I also help with leading in musical worship and supporting core members wherever they need it.
